Admissions Undergraduate navigation

Selected students who do not qualify for admission directly as a first-year student may be admitted to the Admission Promise Program (APP). Through this program, students will enroll at a community college and, after meeting program requirements, are guaranteed a spot at Oswego.

To receive a non-binding Early Action decision in December, submit all materials by November 15th. Otherwise, Oswego offers Rolling Admission (though we encourage Regular Decision applicants to apply by March 1 to receive the fullest possible consideration for merit scholarships).

In order to remain eligible for College Promise benefits, students must maintain a 2.0 GPA, and pass both Math and English classes with a "C" or better. Students who do not meet these requirements must submit an appeal to remain in the College Promise program.
