Mercy Ships 2024 Vision Trip brought Network Entrepreneurs onboard the floating hospital for an up-close view of our humanitarian services in action. Our hospital ships are operated by volunteers from over 60 countries. Surgeons, dentists, nurses, health trainers, cooks, crewmen and engineers donate their time and skills for free💙The passion and commitment to caring for others is experienced by those who are welcomed onboard, as well as those who serve passionately in giving that care.Gérald Baiwir (Aderco), expresses what impact this had on him personally.🗨️ “If I had to pick one thing that touched me the most, it has been, actually two things; One has been seeing the children after the operation during the recovery time with a big smile on their face while they were not in such an easy situation.And then we also had a great talk with Dr. John, who shared with us all his commitment to Mercy Ships, but also the pain which he experienced every time he has to leave the ship, which I believe touched everyone who was part of that meeting. Even if all they do is not that easy, there is such a positive attitude from everyone that we felt welcome and very touched by everyone’s work.``Due to the generous support of Network Entrepreneurs like, people’s lives are being changed with medical interventions that would otherwise not be available.#MSNetwork #Entrepreneurship #Networking

⭕🔴❤️ For World Blood Donor Day, take a peek at the #AfricaMercy “walking blood bank” – all fully supplied by crewmembers. It’s a snapshot of the love and community that exists on this ship!Molly Dixon, a preoperative nurse on board, is one of the donors contributing to the 100 to 175 units of blood typically transfused during a field service. “We are here to provide life-changing surgeries, hope and healing; and I’ve seen the positive impact that giving blood can have on patients,” she said. “For me it’s not a question of whether I want to or not. The #AfricaMercy was privileged to receive 180 new national crew who have come from all over #Madagascar to join 66 others hired a few months ago. These dedicated individuals work seamlessly alongside #volunteer crew in every department, forming a bridge of understanding as they translate not only language, but the rich Malagasy culture.🇲🇬⛴️“We are very blessed with highly qualified people who are passionate about what we do and not because they want to receive a paycheck, but they just want to serve,” shared Nathan Jansen, Managing Director on theAfrica Mercy.“They are going to be able to greet them in their own language and make them feel comfortable, warm, and welcomed in a way that a Malagasy is used to."
