Eric Joob’s Mom, “Oma Joob” sent us a small shoot of this plant on the left in the mail a couple of months ago. (It actually got lost in the mail and we didn’t know if we’d ever see it or if it would survive the long, arduous journey.🤪) Well not only did it survive, we are now watching it thrive! Oma & Opa still have the main plant at their house. We call her “Grandma Schmidt” because this is a plant that me and Eric received after his Grandma went home to glory. We have owned the plant for close to 20 years and it seem like she bloomed in Illinois whenever an exciting time or mile stone was happening. (It’s like his Grandma is watching & praying from heaven). We couldn’t bring the plant here to Florida because we didn’t know if it would make the 28 hour drive from Chicago to Naples shoved in a Uhaul trailer in the sweltering heat and humidity.😝It got me thinking, the journey of this plant shoot is much like our spiritual journey. Sometimes we get lost, sometimes we’re in the dark for days and weeks, sometimes everything looks hopeless, and then suddenly God shows up on the scene. He shines His light on us and plants us on solid ground and we arise & thrive again! 🙌🏻🌅🌺🌴🤗Believing God’s got us and we will flourish in this season. Keeping my eyes fixed on him, spending more time in prayer, continuing to give and serve, and guarding my mouth from negativity. Lord we need your help with these things, we look to you, and we trust you Jesus! ✝️🙌🏻🧡“May there be abundant grain throughout the land, flourishing even on the hilltops. What new door is God opening for you in this season? 2024 is the year of the open door! 🙌🏻🚪👑 Recently in my quiet time God spoke to me. He said the doors that have been sticking and half open in this past season will now swing wide open. I thought of our closet doors here in the bedroom. One side is really difficult to get open and gets stuck in the track. 🤪 I believe God is saying that in this new season He is going to open doors for us no man can shut & he is shutting doors no man can open. (Isaiah 22:22) It is God’s way of moving us forward and into the new thing He has for us! We have been renting a home in North Naples & our lease will be up at the end of the month. The door is closing here but God is moving us closer to the beach! 🌴🌅🐬🧡🌊 We are thankful for the new door He is opening just 10 minutes away and that our son will still be in the same North Naples school. God is working out miracles and bringing perfect provision and right alignment for our assignment. Two years ago today my Dad, Dennis Robnik, went home to glory. I dreamt about my Dad last night. My dreams are so real I thought I was seeing my Dad again in person and I was over the moon! Grateful my Dad accepted Jesus as His Lord and Savior and so have I ~ I look forward to seeing him again one day!✝️🌺🎉I know Dad is cheering me and our entire family on in prayer from heaven. 💫 He made a huge impact on my life, not just with his accomplishments, but even through his mistakes and the broken past he fought to overcome. I learned from the things Dad did right and the things he did wrong. . . and from how he turned to Jesus for strength and to overcome . I caught his heart for prayer, adventure, cars, books, missions, travel, and being an entrepreneur. 🎉🌍👑This week I finally took the Enneagram personality test and found out I am an 8, The Challenger, with a 7, The Enthusiast. God designed me perfectly and my parents shaped me to do what I am currently doing today….Leading Amy Joob Ministries and Amy Joob Coaching. I’m so grateful for all the restoration God brought between me and my parents and how they invested in me as a young adult, financing my two college degrees and modeling school. It’s truly amazing how God makes ALL things new and how He works together all things for our good and His glory!🌅🌴🙋🏼♀️I miss you Dad! I want to make you proud and our Heavenly Father too by accomplishing all He has purposed for me to do. I’m thankful God gave me the revelation last Fall that I can write, speak, minister, and coach even though you are not physically here to support me. I want to honor you Dad and all you and Mom invested in me. Thank you for cheering me on! 🎉Can’t wait to see you again one day….to go on a walk with you, drink coffee together, and discuss the latest books we are reading. I look forward to praying with you again one day and worshipping Jesus with our family, friends, and people from nations around the world.
